Nicol Boyd is a mountain and ultra trail runner living in Hong Kong. He competes in local hill and ultra trail races despite his serious aversion to running up steps and on concrete. Occasionally he travels further a field in search of better terrain, exploring the mountains of Taiwan, dabbling in hill running in his native Scotland, sky running in Italy or racing alpine ultras.
When he is not designing things in his day job or out running, he intermittently muses about his running on this blog, where he also publishes the odd snapshot from the trails and chews over his latest attempts at making some of his own equipment.
