Despite the amount of time I spend running (or thinking about it) actually I spend the vast majority of my time being an industrial designer. I run a Hong Kong based design studio called Office for Product Design together with my design and business partner Tomas Rosen. Our award winning design work spans a wide range of products and typologies ranging from homeware, consumer electronic, furniture and lighting to sports equipment and accessories.

As I have started to experiment with modifying and adapting my running gear to fit my requirements, I have realised that it is possible to take things a step further. I am now working to leverage this design background together with insights gained from my time spent on the trails and in the hills to design and develop products which better fit my needs as a runner and which, importantly, are as lightweight and unobtrusive as possible. The aim is to create simple and functional equipment, both hardware and software, which is refined to the point you barely even realise you are using it. I aim to document the development of these products here as the project develops.
